| ABOUT THE ARTIST
 Claire Hudson spent her formative years in northern Virginia, where she also attended college as an art major.
Her ancestry includes artists and painters for four generations, including her twin sister, who is an oil painter.
Through the years, Claire has always enjoyed using her creative talents in many spheres. She has drawn images for a business newsletter, painted and drawn for gifting, had a personal interior design business, created unique and complicated school bulletin boards, performed window and visual display in the retail arena, and completed signage and lettering projects. Most recently she was shown twice in the Elizabeth Guinan Gallery and also in a juried community art show, both in Charlotte, NC.
In December 2006, she furthered her education by graduating, with honors, from the Art Institute of Charlotte. Claire is a member of the Charleston and Summerville Art Guilds. | |
