| ABOUT THE ARTIST
 Claire Hudson spent her formative years in northern Virginia, where she also attended college as an art major. Her father painted in oil, and although he had no formal art training, was quite accomplished. Her twin sister is a painter.
Through the years, Claire has always enjoyed using her creative talents in many spheres. She has drawn images for a business newsletter, painted and drawn for gifting, had a personal interior design business, created unique and complicated school bulletin boards, performed window and visual display in the retail arena, completed signage and lettering projects, and most recently has been shown in the Elizabeth Guinan Gallery and a juried community art show, both in Charlotte, NC.
In December 2006, she furthered her education by graduating, with honors, from the Art Institute of Charlotte. Claire is also a member of the Charlotte Art League. | |
